For almost a century, institutes and associations, like the Rhine Research Institute and the Parapsychology Foundation, have been diligently conducting experiments and research on phenomena that fall within the field of parapsychology. Despite the diverse range of topics and subject matters that parapsychologists have studied over the years, they have all shared a common goal: to collect and analyze data that sheds light on the same fundamental question. They have invested significant resources and time into amassing evidence that supports the same conclusion - that the phenomena they are investigating are real, exist, and are possible.
When the scientific community embraced the scientific method as its guiding principle, it also made a conscious choice to exclude anything related to spirituality, relegating it to the realm of religion and faith. Gone from science were all things fanciful, much like a child deciding to rid themselves of their action figures and toys because that's what adults do. Gone for good were the ghosts, the flying saucers, and the magick wands. Science had once thought that only the ignorant would be interested in them, due to its own carelessness and haste in trying to appear professional and mature.
So, the scientific community moved on, confident in their decision to leave such matters to the uninformed. The only problem was that, in its haste, it disregarded valid and real phenomena, suggesting that the scientific method dogma is an inadequate screening tool for distinguishing between what is and what is not, particularly pertaining to anomalous events of high strangeness. While science may have disregarded the spiritual and fanciful topics for the ignorant, others persisted in sharing knowledge about these phenomena and the truth that they exist. These topics are now recognized by science as worthy of study. Even though they were labeled as figments and wives' tales, people continued to experience phenomena such as time slips and hauntings. Others found validity in working with subtle energy and noticed outcomes correlating with the practice and study of magick practices involving biogeometry and manipulation of an unstudied quantum state known historically and esoterically as a liminal realm called the imaginal field. Additionally, sightings of UAP/UFOs persisted.
So, like people, science sometimes ignores evidence and continues to believe what it has always believed. Except for a small rebel faction brave enough to dare, enter the pre-acceptance parapsychologists - the scientists and researchers who have spent almost a century proving, through experiments, documented accounts, photographic evidence, and meta-analysis, that there is substance to many of the phenomena that have fallen under the umbrella field of parapsychology.
Over the past 70-100 years, scientists, researchers, and practitioners have conducted experiments, developed theories, and collected data on various phenomena, all with the goal of validating and proving the existence of a single, identical fact - that "it" exists. From hunting Sasquatch and securing DNA samples to verifying mediums, proving subtle energy and distance healing, documenting orbs and UAP/UFOs, and uncovering the process of Kundalini rising and shamanic sickness, the primary research that has taken place in pre-acceptance parapsychology is research that provides data validating the existence, possibility, and validity of these phenomena.
Since most phenomena in parapsychology have been dismissed, any resources and time spent studying it have been wasted in an endless and futile attempt to persuade skeptics and debunkers who have made their minds up about their "beliefs" to look at the data and evidence. The brilliant scientific and investigative minds who contribute to the data and findings about phenomena in parapsychology have spent their time validating these phenomena as real. Experiment after experiment, they have come up with results showing significant proof of ESP, subtle energy, poltergeist effects, residual hauntings, consciousness survival after death, past life recall, communication with non-visible and non-human entities, and UAP/UFOs that have been documented numerous times. But until now, the scientific community has continued to ignore the evidence. It didn't matter how much evidence there was to the contrary.
Here we have a substantial body of evidence, data, documentation, and testimony that, upon review, leads to an overwhelming conclusion: "Yes, these phenomena are real." Associations like the Society for Scientific Exploration, or the SSE, have assembled to scientifically explore such phenomena. Another valid and scientific organization doing such research and studies is IONS, the Institute of Noetic Sciences. With this in mind, what should the movers and contributors to parapsychology do next? Throughout the decades, every time the debunkers said, "There is still not enough evidence," more evidence continued to amass.
Now we have more than enough; so much so that scientists and researchers in parapsychology are satisfied with studying the phenomena of their choice for the benefit of both themselves and the field of parapsychology. No more falling into the trap of trying to prove themselves and being ignored. So, they are content with studying the phenomena for understanding, accepting that it may not be accepted. And then a paranormal miracle occurred. The floodgates of the government opened, revealing that it too was studying, recording, and researching various phenomena. After 20 years of study at Skinwalker Ranch, validation of remote viewing, and research on poltergeist events, energy orbs, cryptids, and portals. Additionally, there is now acknowledgment that UAP/UFOs are not only real, but sightings of them are legitimate and have been prolific. These sightings have revealed that UAP/UFOs come in a myriad of sizes and shapes. Further investigation has revealed that both active and retired government officials have had contact with non-human entities. They continue to show a great interest in individuals who have interacted with Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), energy orbs, and those who possess the ability to facilitate healing in others.
The flood of evidence caused a chain reaction of revelation that entered the mainstream of science and media, leaving no room for doubt about the validity of the phenomena studied in parapsychology. No longer do researchers, practitioners, and scientists need to focus solely on generating more data to prove the reality of these phenomena. The opening of this floodgate heralds the post-acceptance age of parapsychology. So, what is it and what does it mean?
It is simple. Post-acceptance parapsychology is what parapsychology should have been from the beginning: the study of phenomena and human interaction with it. It seeks to explore the origins, processes, interactions, and sociology of phenomena, delving deeply into them in a way that goes beyond simply proving their existence. Post-acceptance parapsychology is the study of various phenomena, acknowledging their existence as a matter of fact and as aspects of our reality and physics. It is the study and discussion of phenomena as matters of fact, no longer acknowledging the debunker nor giving credence to the act of debunking. Parapsychology is advancing and presenting itself as a legitimate field supported by empirical data.
This is What, I of ALICE, refers to as Post-Acceptance Parapsychology, which is the approach we take regarding parapsychological phenomena. It is a point of view you can find from such organizations as, New Thinking Allowed, which conducts interviews with scientists, practitioners, researchers, and spiritualists that are, "living" the experience of phenomena and studying the scientific aspects of them. We have spent far too long attempting to prove this phenomenon. Now that it has been validated and there is an abundance of data and research to sift through, it is time to explore how this phenomenon can enhance our understanding of life and what it can look like as we integrate it into our daily lives. By doing so, we can discover the benefits of this integration.
